Job Description:
Our Ottawa based client is looking for a Project and Risk Management Support specialist for a contract position running from date of award to August 21, 2010, with up to two additional optional 1 year periods.

All candidates must possess Secret clearance.

The ideal candidate will have::
  • twenty four months of demonstrated experience, within the last forty eight months providing project management support, risk analysis or risk management.
  • a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditaion.
  • a univerisity undergraduate degree from an accredited Canadian university (or equivalent if the degree was obtained outside of Canada)
  • thirty six months experience working with preparing and developing documentation required to obtain project approval within the department of the federal government in the past 72 months
  • experience on projects or programs related to occupational medicine, enviromental medicine, or drugs or pharmaceuticals
  • experience conducting risk analysys or risk management on projects valued at $20M or more within the last sixy months
  • experience costing or developing costing models for projects valued at $10M or more within the last sixty months
  • experience facilitating consultation processes or negotiations with industry for the development of science or technology, nationally or internationally.
